“8:40 am - Of late I’ve really disliked showering. It just takes too long! But I’m also a big fan of being clean. Oh, what a Sophie’s Choice!”

Cait and I met while taking an improv class in Chicago a couple of years ago. People who do improv classes are koo-koo. You roll the dice when you take a class full of random strangers. It ranges from the silent but deadly funny type to the guy who was always the class clown who can’t stop making dick jokes to the folks who wanted some more social interaction and practice to the 9-to-5ers who thought it’d be a good way to practice brainstorming in the conference room. I believe Cait was the latter.

She had never taken an improv class, but had such great instincts and was just so gosh darn glad to be there and participate, it was great doing scenes with her. We were lucky in that our whole class was full of people like that (sans the ever present haunting ghost of every improv class of the guy with the dick jokes - we definitely had one of those).

Since the class, it’s been great to follow Cait on social media and see her crocheting and cooking and being oh so active. Also her dog is adorable.
